Chris is the founder of Awarenearth, a newly established non-profit organization based in Geneva, Switzerland. With a distinguished background as a former Swiss diplomat and extensive experience across the United Nations (UN), the World Bank, and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Chris brings a comprehensive understanding of complex global issues.

Chris has engaged with challenges in over 100 countries, covering areas such as international and civil conflicts, climate change, energy, biodiversity loss, pollution, nuclearization, pandemics, natural disasters, forced migration, and ethics. This broad exposure has provided invaluable insights into both local community realities and the global frameworks essential for addressing existential threats to humanity and the planet.

Most recently, Chris served as a senior advisor to the American Geophysical Union, contributing to the development of an ethical framework for climate interventions. This role also involved extensive outreach and participation in high-level international conferences, further solidifying Chris's expertise in pressing global issues.

A key voice in global governance, Chris has given statements at the UN and is an active participant in both Mobilizing an Earth Governance Alliance and the World Federalist Movement.
