who we are
AwareNearth is a nonprofit association based in Geneva, Switzerland, founded in March 2025. We believe that sharing diverse worldviews on existential risks is essential to enhancing human well-being and protecting the natural world for future generations.
We live in a profound paradox: while time is short to address the risks we have created, humanity is only at the beginning of its journey—if we choose to succeed. By blending science, art, and diplomacy, we work to shift mindsets, build resilience, and reduce anxiety across generations.
WHAT WE DO
At AwareNearth, we transform the conversation around existential threats from one of paralysis and fear into a source of clarity and collective power. We navigate the profound paradox of our time: while the window to address human-made risks is closing, humanity’s journey on Earth is only just beginning.
Our Mission: From Anxiety to Resilience
We act as a common compass in an era of rapid change. By blending science, art, and diplomacy, we provide the direction needed to reduce anxiety and build confidence in our capacity to adapt. We don’t just inform; we connect.
Our Approach
Amplifying Voices: We gather bold, creative testimonials from across the globe—individuals and communities turning existential challenges into courageous action.
Intergenerational Stewardship: We act as the ancestors of the future and the stewards of today, bridging the gap between generations to protect the natural world.
Nature as an Ally: We shift the mindset from "dominating nature" to "living with it." We believe that when respected, nature is our greatest ally in building a sustainable future.
We choose resilience over despair, action over fear, and hope over resignation.
